Since been furload my DH spends his time either on computer or mobile fone. He doesn't seem interested in our two children. Even xmas day he got up then went back to bed after opening presents as he had hangover. Boxing day he stayed home while we went to my parents. I'm so fed up with this now. All he cares about is his computer. He seen a doctor but they say he's fine. What do I do?

On a serious note OP, do you mean he got addicted to his phone/computer in 2020 and has been doing that ever since? Does he have a job now or is he unemployed?

Detective work time.

Many are asking how can he be furloughed when that ended quite a while ago, and suggesting he may have lost his job . Do you have an office phone number for his work? Call it and ask to speak to him. False name, obvs. See what they say. 'He works from home' or 'he's still furloughed' or 'he no longer works here'.

Check the bank statements. Is there an income and where is it coming from?

Check the computer and mobile for internet search history. Anything weird? If there is zero history, that in itself is weird.

His behaviour is causing you distress and being in the dark over its cause will only make that worse. Eliminating work issues / finance problems / secret activities will help you focus on what's actually wrong.

Something is causing him to drink and to withdraw from your family. If he's not physically ill it could well be depression.

Hard to say without knowing what conversations you've had with him.

Maybe he is pissed off with being referred to as "hubby"?

Also, the pork addiction may lessen now that "pigs in blankets" season is over.

He sounds like a bloody moody teenager who wants to be anywhere other than living at home.

He probably thinks he has some fake depression, so is opting out of everything.
