Online gaming apps Giving young girls/women a complex

I as an adult play on many gaming platforms and the adverts to the makeover games such as ‘project makeover’ disturbs me to say the least, in fact it makes my stomach turn to the point I no longer watch the ads.
I’m in my thirties and have two boys. I worry about the impact social media has on them but for the owners to advertise a game to portray that a man would cheat on his wife or partner just because she’s not ‘beautiful/sexy’ or ‘didn’t wear enough makeup’ etc etc makes me feel physically sick. They should be ashamed.
Social media has ruined this generation as it is with the highest teen suicide, self harm and depression without power hungry greedy money making typhoons as they are cashing in on it.
The game needs taking down and banning. They are teaching young girls/women that image means more than anything. It’s fucked up.

They should be ashamed

I’ve not played that game in particular but I have read the comments to one of those adverts and the people who actually play the game were confused as to why it was being advertised in that way. It’s total clickbait for what is essentially a match three game. I hate the adverts too.

Maybe sit them down and have them watch the series tropes and video games first, discuss, and repeat.
