Any ideas where I can get a necklace or earrings for a 7 year old girl. I'm looking for something hard wearing not too delicate but nice, not cheap stuff that falls apart. The high street places like warren james h samuel etc don't have much for children and it's so tiny and delicate.

Looking to spend around £30-50

She will look after what I get her but she is just a kid and I want something that won't damage too easily.

She's asked for nice jewellery for her birthday

Honestly - wouldn't spend that amount on jewellery for a child of that age. She will lose it. 100% guaranteed.

Get something pretty from Claire's and save the more expensive stuff for when she gets older.

Look at tinysilver, I got my niece a lovely necklace from there. Not sure if she’s lost it, mind! tinysilver.com/

Liberty Charms

I got my two nieces the bracelets from here for their Christmas and they're great quality and seem hard wearing!

Pandora do some lovely small earrings in that budget.

There are some gorgeous pieces on here. They are local to me. They do a lot for the environment too.

notonthehighstreet would probably have things, especially if you want personalised.

Pandora - I got dts the 'ear huggers' for Christmas, they're pretty robust and you can't lose the butterfly as there isn't one so hopefully they'll keep hold of them. I think they were £40

If you buy something nice you might consider getting caps put on the back so they're much harder to take out and lose.

Carrie Elspeth do some nice colourful things in children's sizes too. Available from their website and some stuff on Amazon.
