The only reason I took out a paid sub to find my past was to access the census today. Even as a premium member you can’t, not without paying either £2.50 per item to view a typed transcript or £3.50 per digital photo of the census page itself. I have 15 people I want information for.
I’m gutted and can only hope it might become freely available in the future.
FMP were apparently paid £10 million to digitise the census.
For people near Manchester or Kew, you can go and search the archive for free.

I think this was the case with 2011 as well. I would expect it to be included in the main sub by next year at the latest.

I would have expected FMP to be paying TNA rather than the other way around.

It is annoying but they did publicise this a couple of months ago. Hopefully it will become part of the general access in time.

If they are family members you can often find +1 on a page so limiting the number you want to search for?
