4 weeks ago all was well
Relaxing on maternity leave, waiting for baby and enjoying time with my toddler 18months old
Next thing I wake up with a tiny amount of fluid leak
Went to get checked out
:2Heart rate (mine and unborn babies) through the roof
Cue admission, IV antibiotics, emergency c section with a 10 hour wait, followed by sepsis, 5 days in hospital, IV antibiotics for me and baby, lumbar puncture and lots of needles for baby.
Discharged
Toddler gets diarrhoea then conjunctivitis then cough and fever
Followed by me getting it
And now baby has bronchiolitis at 20 days old
AIBU to be struggling? Tell me it gets better.
Any tips? Hand hold please.

Oh my goodness, you've all been through the wringer. I've been through something similar. My little girl was born this year, thankfully healthy but my toddler boy was admitted to hospital straight after (twice!) with an asthma attack. My advice from that time- when you're going through hell... keep going!

You have been through an awful lot in the last few weeks but it will get better. I wish you all good health and I hope your newborn is better soon.

Thanks all.
Feeling so exhausted atm.
The sort of exhaustion that sleep and rest doesn't heal!
I have no choice but to keep going.
Thanks for the hand hold

Ask for help. From partner, family, friends. Tell them what you need from a food shop, to watching the kids whilst you take a bath, general tidy up, washing, just being an ear to vent to.
My baby girl was born 5days before her sister went back to school. We had some health issues and it was hard. I tried to do it all and it made me worse.
I can only imagine how hard it's been. Sending hugs!

It would be insane to think you wouldn’t be struggling after all that!
It will get better. It will. One day at a time. Not even that. An hour at a time.
