Posting here for traffic - I posted this in 'chat' but I'm panicking and could do with answers asap to hopefully put my mind at rest! Not like I'm going to be able to do anything about it anyway
So, I think I've messed up! My first time using a slow cooker today and thought I would try a sausage casserole first.
I browned the sausages first and then added them to the slow cooker. But... I only put it on low for 4 hours and then put it on high for last half an hour (4.5 hours in total).
Am I going to get food poisoning?
I've already ate it and they looked okay.
