Can Laser resurfacing fix blackhead scarring?

Hi Mumsnetters,

AIBU to ask if anyone has had laser resurfacing to treat blackhead scarring? I have blocked pores / blackhead scarring (mostly on my nose) and have tried salicylic acid which made some difference however the pock marks/blackheads are still there. I'd really like to improve my appearance as I hope this will make me feel more confident. Would anyone recommend laser resurfacing to get rid of the scarring or have any other suggestions? Have you tried retinol? Over a period of time it helps with the appearance of scarring on the skin.
