To feel somewhat allergic after five days being together inside

My partner and I don't live together but we spent five full days together over the holidays but had to restrict
Movements due to a possible close contact.
Aibu for feeling somewhat suffocated. He is gone now and I'm Glad to have my space back.
My teenager was in the house for those days.
Feel like we should have been thrilled to be together as it's usually every weekend we see each other. I was happy for him to leave . AIBU.

Everyone needs their own space.

We've not spent the whole time together but I was relieved that DH is back at work and the kids back to school after the Christmas break. We all like our own routines.

I think a 5 day stretch isolating is very different to going about normal life while living under the same roof (and being able to pop out or plan other activities that break up the time and give a sense of independent - or shared - purpose).

We had two social events that we had to cancel so we were isolated together which I found claustrophobic.
I'm pretty sure he'd still like to be here only that he needed to go back for work.
Hope I'm not going off him!

It's different being forced to spend 5 days in close proximity than living together, and each being able to go to work/do your own hobbies/see friends/go out together etc.

Me and DP drove each other mad when we had covid. Back when it was still 14 days as well! Nicest weather and we couldn't go out in it. But normally we are absolutely fine living together.

I wouldn't worry about this :).
