Christmas decs

I've decided to take all my Christmas decs down at the weekend due to work etc and having more time . Also the Christmas tree can't be taken for recycling until 18th Jan so I plan to take all the decorations off and just leave the lights on until it goes. Will I be cursed with awful luck?? I'm generally a very superstitious person.

I'm not very lucky anyway so doubt it will make any difference!! Maybe I left my decorations up after twelve night in a former life.

My son has arrived to undecorate the tree and put it outside for the dustmen/women/people to collect tomorrow.

Blush21 has it. If you don't take them down then you are meant to leave them up until candlemas...

However... I have not heard of anyone being struck down based on whether they have decorations up, down, in, out, shake it all about

Ours are coming down tomorrow, the feast of the Epiphany. We are enjoying them for one last night tonight.

IIRC the queen leaves hers up until February. So you should be ok.
