To ask why chocolate and vanilla petit filous no longer exist?!

A few months ago I realised these glorious things had been out of stock at every supermarket I'd shopped at lately, and this still seems to be the case - they're "unavailable" everywhere I look! Please God, no! Does anyone know what's happened to them?!

It absolutely isn't cheese or yoghurt though! It's a creamy dessert - not like the fruit petits filous and nothing soured, yoghurty or cheesy about it at all.

Omg, I loved these, especially the vanilla ones. Not seen them in years either, I wonder if the product just didn't sell enough so was withdrawn

The Milky vanilla desserts are quite similar as well

I didn’t realise fruit clubs had disappeared! They were the only ones I liked.

Ended up trying the milkybar little pots but they aren’t as nice.

I loved them! They haven't been available here in Ireland for years. At one stage Lidl did similar vanilla and chocolate desserts but they no longer seem to be available.

Why has it totally disappeared?!?!? All of it, not just PF

They are not yoghurt but I can’t remember what the base was. I used to buy them for desserts for toddlers.
The other chocolate flavoured dairy product that appeared and disappeared very quickly was a chocolate flavoured cheese truckle. It was on sale at Christmas amongst all the the cranberry and whisky flavoured cheddar cheese wax covered balls.

I am no chocolate fiend, but this chocolate flavoured cheddar was a taste sensation 😂 was counting down the days until the next Christmas so I could get another go at it! Gone! Never seen it since.

DH bought some the other day, we still have 2 in the fridge so they definitely still exist! I'll ask where he got them.

Sorry about that! It is odd that they still exist on McVite's website, but when you follow the link to shops that sell them it always says none available. As you can see I'm quite invested in this.

I got some in sainsburys today - on offer at 80p for 6.

We definitely bought these between Xmas & new year. In sainsburys, Scotland. My 2 children love them! They eat the chocolate ones first then the vanilla. Hope you find them

Omg I love them! Most supermarkets don't do them around where I am but I sometimes find them in the local Sainsburys

Hopefully these expired in December 2021 and not December 2020 and have been tucked at the back of a shop fridge, would hate to think I've served my kids year-expired dairy products
