Long story but will keep as short as possible. Backstory my brother has always been the golden child and easily controlled by women, the eve before my dad died I contacted him and told him of the situation but he had somewhere else to go so refused to visit, the following morning my dad died. Forward 20 years and I have just been advised to be prepared for the end of life for my mum.
My daughter contacted him and explained the situation to him and asked when he wanted to visit as she is in a care home, he said he wouldn’t be visiting because his SIL is ill and he couldn’t risk getting Covid, even though he is triple vaccinated and has access to full PPI.
So I texted back and basically told him that he couldn’t be bothered at least be honest, as currently my 3 DC are doing everything and have done for a long time and it wasn’t fair on them particularly as my 2nd DD just went cope if she dies.
The next thing I know I have got my SIL on the phone screaming at me saying her sister is terminally ill so he needed to be their for her. Without giving me a chance to respond she cut me off. I am absolutely fuming as he got his wife to ring me and the fact that once again I will be left to sort everything out.
