WWYD? 13yo DD slightly toxic friend - talk about it or let friendship run its course?

Friend is a bit self centred, a drama queen, has asked DD to buy her sweets, not very warm or kind, seems to purposely dislike what my dad likes sometimes, maybe for attention?

I want to talk about it but I also don’t want to come across as negative Or mean or unkind.

In the past I have just left these things to run their course and my daughter has grown out of it. But13 is quite a formative age and I feel my daughter is neglecting other friendships.

WWYD?

Your daughter has to figure out these kinds of relationships for herself, but I would teach her how to say NO to anyone trying to take advantage of her. No buying anything for someone else, unless it's a birthday present or such.

She will learn :)
