Can I ask when you would prefer my Christmas decoration donations?

January or November?

November, I've worked in a few, there's no storage space, and no one wants them in January, November is better Smile

If in decent condition (presumably so if donating rather than throwing) you could always ask a local school if they could make use of (and store) them. That way you might be free of them earlier. Two schools local to us are always v pleased with things like that.

It will differ from charity to charity. We have a central warehouse and can store anything at anytime. Thanks for thinking of charities and not landfill!

November unless they’re electrical in which case they need to be checked so better now

Best to ask the shop directly - the shop I most recently volunteered in had a space we could specifically store off-season things in (we had Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and then clothes sorted by season) as we had more storage space than retail space. Other shops put things out as they receive it and have very little storage.

Sorry, thanks everyone I will just ask the local shops (if I ever get out again as now have covid in the house) and see what they prefer
