Am very conscious that I've put on weight this year and even more so over Christmas. Know that I need to lose weight for various reasons and not liking the way I look or feel of tight clothes. But I love my food, especially sweet things and find chocolate irresistible!
So ... this evening, I polished off the mince pies and scoffed two bags of chocolate coins, my reasoning being, now that they're gone there's no more temptation 🤷‍♀️
Can anyone relate? (YANBU)
Or am I basically a greedy pig? (YABU)

YANBU as chocolate coins and mince pies are delicious.

I can relate as I have also put weight on this year (and the last), and the xmas goodies are still calling me.

So, no help but solidarity ✊🏻

They're seasonal goods, and tis the season.

You will notice that all the 'green' food guides tell us to consume foods which are in season, to help reduce our carbon footprint. You cannot get more seasonal than chocolate coins and mince pies right now.

Thank you for helping to save the environment Grin

😂😂😂

I like it.

Yep. I do the same thing. If I eat all the crisps in one go then I can't eat them later on.

Not sure about the coins though because the chocolate tastes weird!

I did the same with a tub of mint choc chip ice cream. Needs to be gone before the 1st so I can be healthy…YANBU
