But it’s a big thing to you and it sucks Flowers.
I hope your DH recovers quickly.

Tiredmummyof3 · 30/12/2021 14:15

I'd be gutted too. Where were you meant to be going OP?

Cape Verde = I have rebooked for March so all is not lost

I didn't book anything major for my 50th as I couldn't bear it being cancelled. We've just had a big family event in London cancelled and it is really depressing.

YANBU op, here's to March 🤞

lanbro · 30/12/2021 16:44

We were supposed to be off to Egypt tomorrow but 3/4 of us have covid, rebooked for another few weeks time and it's only half the price so a nice silver lining! Disappointing but I'd prepped dc that we might not get

gorseinon · 30/12/2021 16:53

Hope you can go in March and have a lovely time. I'd be upset if I was in your shoes.

RampantIvy · 30/12/2021 16:55

I can feel your disappointment. I hope he doesn't get ill and you manage to get away in March.

skyblueone · 30/12/2021 16:57

Everyone in my house has had covid, each positive test came at the most inconvenient time (not that there's a good time but you know what I mean). It's the law of sod. Sorry about your holiday, hope dh is ok.

AutumnLeaves21 · 30/12/2021 16:57

Sorry your holiday has been postponed. I would be gutted too in your shoes. Hope March goes ahead

Lulu1919 · 30/12/2021 17:03

That's rubbish
Sending sympathy
I'm scared to book anything at the mo ...even for UK 🇬🇧

Tiredmummyof3 · 30/12/2021 17:27

Fingers crossed for March. Hope your DH doesn't suffer too badly
