AIBU to be annoyed that the insert was glued into my candle box?

My mum bought me a set of Neom candles for Christmas was was very generous (and totally unexpected). They came in a lovely box which I thought would be perfect for keeping nail polish in... but the card insert is very firmly glued in and ruined it when I tried to gently pull it out.

I feel like just putting it in the recycling now.

AIBU to be a bit a disappointed? (I realise this is a tiny little problem in the grand scale of things, but it really was a treat to recieve)

So stick it back down…

There's bits of glue and curly bits of peeled off paper all over....

Re line the interior?

Glue some new paper or fabric into it as a liner.

Make a card of your own saying "nail polish" and glue that in?

Stick some card over it?

Cut a piece of felt to the right size and use that as an insert. It will have the added benefit of your nail polishes not rolling around quite as much.
