Crimbo limbo covid bingo - anyone else separated?

It’s this time of year you are suppose to be relaxing with family and friends. However covid bingo has hit my social circle and I have been alone for 2 days. So bored now.

Had to cancel Christmas with my parents as I was in contact with a few people who have covid. I live 4 hrs away from them and my mum is CEV. Despite lateral testing and negative PCR it seemed risky. Didn’t go down well but different story. Was looking forward to going home and also seeing friends.

I don’t have a massive social circle where I live, but about 7 good friends and an ex I am still friendly with. Quite a few work friends, but not close enough to ask them what they are doing On Xmas day. Rest live close to my home town.

6 of my friends tested positive for covid. I spent Xmas day with my ex as couldn’t go home. Was nice, but not the action packed few days away I had planned. It’s covid bingo.

Covid positive here too. Feel awful and disappointed that friends are nowhere to be seen. I phoned one friend yesterday and was interrupted mid conversation because she had another call coming in!!!
I help them out and put effort into making sure they are ok when things are rough so I’m feeling quite sorry for myself.
Partner just told me to FO cunt because I didn’t like being him taking the piss out of me. So all round feeling not great atm.

I don't have a story about me but my cousin was supposed to come to me for Christmas. He had been out with his mates a few days before. All tested positive for covid. They all came in their cars to his house bringing all their food and isolated together. They had a massive blow out (5 of them) Christmas day and are due to isolate till NYE. They are having a great time.

@HappyDays40 that sounds great. If I was positive I would of went to my friends house. Seems covid left me out in a weird way. Xmas at my exes was nice, but would of had more fun with my friends.

@HappyDays40 I never got covid. Everyone round about me did. So I may as well have isolated. I am on day 9 of exposure and so far negative PCR and lateral flows. My friends still positive lateral flows.
