I cried at work today

Things just got on top of me and it felt as if I had ten different people asking me to do something for them.
I can usually manage my workload well but just felt so overwhelmed. I feel as if my manager and colleagues always give me the jobs they don't want to do and that I am a push over 😢

can you ask for a meeting with your manager? If you don't feel you can then it's time to start looking for a new job. FlowersFlowers

I have started looking for another job but this one works well with my childcare and I just keep thinking it might be worse somewhere else, even though things aren't great where I am (staff shortages, staff leaving and not been replaced)

you probably are a push over...

is there an option to say "no"...?

if not, tell them to put there work in the pile and you will get to it in due course.

I work in retail so it's more jobs that have to be done straight away. So for example I could be putting the delivery away and a colleague will ask me to go and serve a customer then a colleague will ask me to answer the phone. Just little things like that
