To think this candle is too Christmassy to stay all year round?!

Love this white reindeer, but it’s Christmassy, isn’t it? Would like to leave it around after Christmas but think it might look odd! What do you think?

Yep- put it away with the Christmas stuff and bring it out next year!

Kitkat151 · 28/12/2021 14:36

Yep far too christmassy

AvocadoAndToast · 28/12/2021 14:36

If you love it keep it! It’s your home do as you like Xmas Smile.

Bitofachinwag · 28/12/2021 14:36

It's fine I think.

MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers · 28/12/2021 14:38

Your house, do what you like.

GoodnightGrandma · 28/12/2021 14:39

It could also be a stag, keep it if you want to.

HippeePrincess · 28/12/2021 14:39

It’s just a stag? I see no red nose so I say keep it out

IglesiasPiggl · 28/12/2021 14:41

I think it's lovely for Christmas but might be a bit kitsch the rest of the year, depending on your decor

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/12/2021 14:42

Not too Christmassy, keep it.

campion · 28/12/2021 14:46

It's fine.
I left an actual star decoration hanging on a floor lamp about 4 years ago and it's still there. No one has ever commented / noticed.
Other people can think what they like; it doesn't really matter. What you like matters .

Ponoka7 · 28/12/2021 14:50

I agree with the stag comments. Reindeer are a winter ornament, rather than Christmas, so could stay out until March, if you are bothered by it being out all year.

WildFlowerBees · 28/12/2021 14:58

It's a winter ornament, put it away in spring?

DoodleBelle · 28/12/2021 15:00

I think it’s fine to keep out all year, it’s small, a subtle colour and wintry rather than Christmassy. You could put it away in spring if you don’t want to keep it out all year?

Clawdy · 28/12/2021 15:02

Good idea, maybe see it as a winter ornament! Thanks.

SundayTeatime · 28/12/2021 15:03

It’s completely fine.

Iheartbaby · 28/12/2021 15:03

Keep it out it looks lovely

Wrinklyeyes · 28/12/2021 15:04

We put snowflakes in our window and keep them up until Feb as think of them as wintery instead of for Christmas.

Mudflaps · 28/12/2021 15:05

It look like Christmas decor to me, is it a candle or tealight holder? I don't understand candles that aren't for burning (and sorry I know it's nothing to do with your question)

HipposHaveNipples · 28/12/2021 15:08

Just looks like a stag to me.

Clawdy · 28/12/2021 15:09

It's a ceramic ornament with wax candle inside. Not lit it yet because it came as a late present.

SnugKnights · 28/12/2021 15:10

@GoodnightGrandma

It could also be a stag, keep it if you want to.
Agreed it looks like a white stag to me.
Evasmissingletter · 28/12/2021 15:14

Life is too short to save for best or next year or sometime special… just enjoy it now.

BeyondMyWits · 28/12/2021 15:21

It's fine. We've had 3 cut out cardboard snowmen on our living room door, permanently, for the last 14 years. Dd(then 6) stuck them on with tape. If you take them off it takes the paint finish off the door.

DH says he'll get round to fixing it... sometime...

We're not houseproud...

HunkyPunk · 28/12/2021 15:27

If the candle had been red, it might be different, but I think once your other Christmas decorations are down it will take on a less ‘Christmassy’ feel, and be fine to keep on show.

Woeismethischristmas · 28/12/2021 15:30

Buy a tartan throw and Chanel your inner Scot. Lots of stag ornaments round here.
