Person 1 saw an article stating that LFTs are more reliable when done on the throat, even if they are for the nose. They had symptoms and did one LFT up nose as packet suggested (negative) and one on throat (positive). They immedietely booked a PCR and texted people they had seen the day before to warn them.
Person 2 lives with person 1 and so also did a LFT- just one, up the nose- negative. Person 2 was due to see various people today and tomorrow and knows the news of Person 1's positive LFT will have got back to them from person 1 texting contacts. Person 2 feels the LFT on throat was inaccurate because not done as instructions and therefore isolating/cancelling plans is a waste of time. Person 2 is annoyed at person 1 for texting people about the (they believe to be false) positive LFT result.
