Coffee without baileys

Light hearted but aibu. dh made me a coffee this morning with no Baileys in it. Please tell me I should LTB

Any whiskey based spirit is good in coffee. Especially if you add brown sugar and a lot of cream and some chocolate sprinkles.
Baileys is best though.

I usually put Baileys in hot chocolate, hadn't thought about coffee!!

I have seen several people on Twitter refer to Baileys as 'Christmas milk'. Have it on your cornflakes today instead.

I made the mistake of having a piece of Christmas cake for breakfast and underestimated how much brandy it had been fed. I'm now feeling decidedly light-headed!

I feel your pain OP, there was no Buck’s Fizz left for breakfast this morning, just plain OJ for me. I consoled myself with a Biscoff cheesecake chaser.

I hate the UK alcohol culture and think many people drink far too much alcohol. But drinking during the day doesn’t equal alcoholic.

Glad that we've no Baileys in. I didn't know this was a thing and could have happily lived out my life not knowing about this!

Baileys in morning coffee over the festive period is the law in this house too. Very sad that I've run out of it before new year (no I didn't drink it all myself!)

I do only have it like this at Christmas honestly. I agree Baileys in hot chocolate is delicious. Christmas milk lol never heard it called that but definitely will call it that now

I don’t drink coffee any more but I have fond memories of the December weekend many years ago when I was 21 and the heating went in our shared house. Our landlord couldn’t get a heating engineer until Monday so we spent all weekend working through our random drinks cupboard (the many bottles that get left over after house parties) and ‘inventing’ all manner of Irish coffee/tea/hot chocolate combinations. Fruity tea with gin and sugar was a hit but agree that nothing bettered the coffee baileys!

Not sure (even if you have ducks in row already) you have any ‘agency’ here.

I'm teetotal all year. The only alcohol I ever drink is when I buy one bottle of Baileys in December and have it in my coffee each morning until it's gone
