Is this gift cheeky?

So I got a bamboo toothbrush and mints from my sister in law amongst some chocolates, necklace and other nice things. Do you think this is hinting that I have bad breath? My breath was pretty bad recently, had recurrent tonsillitis, tonsil stones and have went through a tonsillictomy last month too so my breath wasn't great for the past year and I've been conscious about it. I will mention it to her and see what she says.

I wouldn't think much of it. Some people are just really into the bamboo toothbrushes and want everyone else to be equally into it.

Given what you've said, yes, it would seem she's trying to help you get better smelling breath!

Is it cheeky? I don't know, I mean, maybe.

If it's true that's why she gave you a toothbrush and mints - she's hurtful and rude

rrhuth · 27/12/2021 19:48

That would be very unkind.

Stiffcondomhat · 27/12/2021 19:50

The toothbrush on its own fine, lots of ppl are into them. Mints is odd, are they special fancy ones? A

The mints were a definite hint and cheeky !

SpiderFluff · 27/12/2021 19:54

Mints were a hint

Are they mints or chewable toothpaste? Is she very into plastic free packaging/recycling/reusable stuff ect?
