Abusive partner due to depression

Every 27 - 31st Dec and the month of Jan I get so much abuse from my partner who suffers from depression. My son wants us to stay together as he has a good standard of living but her behaviour is turning me into an alcoholic.

How old is your son?
Why does this abuse happen specifically at this time of year?

I'm also sorry to hear what you are going through, but I think it is important to see that it is not the depression that is making her abusive.
That is just an excuse she can use. Is she getting any help for her depression?

Tell her that her abuse of you has to stop - and mean it!
There is no reason why you should put up with being treated badly.
