30th/graduation present?

My daughter turns 30 in the summer and will also be graduating with her honours degree around the same time.

I am very proud of her as she's overcame many obstacles to get to this place, from 12-24 it was a nightmare, she had no direction in life, addiction problems and just wasn't a very nice person. She has worked incredibly hard the past five years to get to where she is now, she is a completely different person and a pleasure to be around, thoughtful and kind. Although she says it's not her proper graduation yet as she's going on to do a two year post grad, I really want to celebrate her.

However, she doesn't really have any hobbies, she has an 8 year old daughter who she loves doing experiences and days out with. She's not much of a jewellery person except earrings. Not much into clothes or fashion. She will take the occasional drink but not really her idea of fun anymore. She is an introvert and likes to read, watch tv, go walks and mainly spend time with her daughter.

I'm really at a loss of what to get her for her graduation and her 30th. I have a budget of about £1000. Any ideas?

Oh how lovely! You must be so proud Smile.

How about a girly weekend away for you, your daughter, and your granddaughter? Depending on her interests you could go to see a show in London or stay in a nice country hotel?

That's a fab budget! She's very fortunate to have such a generous mum.
Well you said experiences? I'd look for one she could do with her daughter? Or a trip away?
It's such a lot though I'd ask for her help?
