Social care and covid

Found out I was in contact with somebody yesterday who has tested positive for covid.
I work in a care home and guidance says I don't need to isolate if fully vaccinated but to take a lft for 7 days but do I have to inform my employer does anybody know.

Your employer should have guidance in place for their requirements to give this kind of clarity. Given it's a care based environment is there anyone you can call if you don't know what their current guidance is? (Which I would suggest should have been fully cascaded across all members of staff)

Definitely call your care home manager for advice. Care home residents are extremely vulnerable as Covid was catastrophic for residents.

Definitely call your manager, explain happy to do LFTs etc . It is then their responsibility to keep a check on the situation in their care home .

Been in touch they are happy for me to do lft everyday and provide evidence of result.
