Pre loved Gucci

Why don’t more people do this?

Have just found some websites for pre loved designer bags etc, all fairly good condition. I’ve seen a couple for £200, realise this is a lot *But in pay per use would work out well as I’d keep a bag like that for years.
Aibu to have only just found these and does anyone else buy these?
Or Aibu to want one?

I bought my mulberry second hand as it was limited edition so no longer being sold plus the older ones are better quality, not sure about high high end ones though, would probably rather buy it new if at all.

Tabbacus · 27/12/2021 09:58

Also make sure they're genuine!

"Pre-loved" is presumably meant to imply that the items have been well looked-after.

I've never considered doing this but will take a look! I'd love a designer bag but have never been able to bring myself to part with the money. The closest I've come is my APC half moon bag, which I do love and use most days. That felt like a huge investment at £300 odd!

Wow, some people really have an attitude don’t they. I say pre-loved too OP, when you’re buying a designer purchase like that and spending a lot of your hard earned money it’s nice to make it feel special :)

Please share your gucci findings. A vintage Chanel is on my wish list after hearing horror stories about the quality of the new ones. Think it will remain constantly a wish though due to the ridiculous price increases!

I love Vestiaire for both buying and selling. Their a shop in London loads bloggers have been talking about I'm keen to visit. The handbag clinic at Newcastle is also brilliant as they do repairs as well

@Knockoneofftheshelftowin and @KenAdams

I just mentioned this thread to my DD, and she's said that she recalls the shop is a Sue Ryder charity shop (Sue Ryder Vintage and Retro according to Google maps) on Loseby Lane. We're going next week.

I've used Vestiaire, Labels Most Wanted and Ann's Fabulous Finds successfully before. Ann's Fabulous Finds is in the States but they have an enormous choice and some good sales

Nothing wrong with this I would do it too if I had the money
