Itchy Nipple

Made you click huh? I've had a one sided persistently itchy nipple for a week or two now. No changes to appearance, no redness, no rash, just the itch and it's right inside, rather than the outside. I'm going to have to go to the doctor aren't I? Can't feel a lump, skin on that side has a few more stretchmarks than the other so I can't tell if it feels a little different or not. So no aibu question, maybe just an arse kick/hand hold/reassurance if you have the energy after Boxing Day lunch!

Definitely get it checked out. Probably fine but why risk it.

You're right. I'm just useless when it comes to looking after me!

Needs to be checked, but quite possibly something like thrush.

I have the same thing. Doctor examined me then referred me to get a mammogram just to be safe. That came back all clear but still have an itchy nipple, I try to remember to moisturise. Which helps a bit.

Lotioned to within an inch of my nipples life Grin

Don't think it's thrush - not pregnant, breastfeeding, don’t wear a bra so no dark damp place for it to take hold, but will chuck a flucanzole down my throat for good measure.

The whole side of my breast is feeling fiery now and skin definitely feels different to the other side so have done an econsult. Hopefully they will actually let me see the gp in person and I won't have to send pictures of my itchy tit via email Blush
