Hi,

My stoneware dinner set is all chipped. Such a waste of money! Will porcelain be any better or should I just get bone China? Thanks

I’ve got a Derby set which is a least 15 years old and have only got a chip on one plate.

Me too, I barely have a plate not chipped. I've been admiring my brothers Denby plates but wary I would chip those too.

Stoneware is a pain in the butt. We had one but it didn’t last long. I worked out that letting it dry and cool in the dishwasher before I moved it was the key but by then all the bloody plates were chipped anyway.

Have a look at Wayfair - they do chip resistant crockery.

Other places may well too, but I bought a dinner set about 6 months ago and not one chip, which is unheard of for our household.

My parents would hate that. They have chips with every meal.

Baa dum tss
