Just realised that I haven't cooked the gammon joint for tomorrow's lunch.
Now, should I go and start it immediately or do you think it would be alright timing wise for a 4pm serving if I just stick it on in the morning?
Am I playing a dangerous game of Christmas chicken gammon here? Confused

How big? What's the cooking time on it?

Am usually far more organised but I've woken up today with a sore throat and have just felt progressively more rotten.... about to crack open an LFT

Surely there's enough time tomorrow? Although I always pressure cook mine so what do I know 😬

It'll be fine doing it tomorrow. I sometimes do a joint that size for tea. I stick it in the slow cooker and finish in the oven sometimes too. You could easily put it in the slow cooker in the morning and it'll be ready to roast by lunch. Done in plenty of time.

There’s loads of time to do it. I would pop in the slow cooker tomorrow morning on high for 5-6 hours.
