Help! Remove debit card from PayPal.

Apologies, I'm not sure under which section this should go.

I need to remove my card from my PayPal account, urgently! I've tried everything I can. It was only meant to be linked for 90 days and I thought it would automatically disconnect (after the 90 days).

Please help!

Do you have more than one card on your PayPal? If you have more than one you can just select the other one as your default.
Or is there a specific reason it needs to be deleted?

Click on the 3 lines at the top left and select Wallet, then choose which card you wish to remove!

Is there any pending payments on your account, or is there a negative balance?

Are you using the app?

Click the rectangle in the bottom right, click on your card and then click remove.

I've got one on my account that's been dead for years, no longer have that bank account, and I can't remove it - every time I try it says there is a payment pending, but there can't be.

So I'm no help, but just sympathising that it's not really very easy to do!

I've just tried 'wallet'- selected the card and then 'remove account' but I keep getting a "sorry, we're unable to process right now".

All transactions show as complete so I don't think it's the payments. I really don't know.
I may have to add an old card to see if it would then allow me to remove my current one.

It really is frustrating. I've been trying for a long time as well @VanGoghsDog and I keep getting the same message.

Is it the only method of payment on there? If so you'll need to add another one before you can remove I think

Why don't you get in touch with PayPal?

You can phone them, always found them very helpful on phone

I don't think you can delete the only form of payment on there, so you'll either need to close the account or add a different card before removing this one.

My bank account for that card has been closed for years. And there's always been another card plus linked to my current account. Still won't let me delete it.
