Happy Christmas?

On social media, so many people doing their pics and statuses the last few days wishing a merry Christmas. I realise Christmas is almost upon us, but it used to at *least be Xmas Eve, but generally Christmas Day.
Just seems weird

I put one up today, as I plan to not use social media again until Boxing Day maybe even the 27th, I want to enjoy what’s going on around me and who is around me rather than being drawn into the social media black hole for a few days

Jamiecookmytea · 23/12/2021 23:31

@DailyMailHater Yes, that makes sense, if that’s the case, I get it, but reckon lots of these will be on the whole time

Yes, I was going to say that people often like to switch off from real life for a bit at Christmas.

Jamiecookmytea · 23/12/2021 23:32

To me,It's the digital equivalent of a Christmas card.
So hasn't occurred to me that it's strange seeing those sort of posts

@LubaLuca

Yes, I was going to say that people often like to switch off from real life for a bit at Christmas.
Surely that should be "switch off from non-real life" if you're talking about SM?
