To still see family Christmas Day?

I had a cold last week, started coughing a bit on Tuesday. Took 2 LFTs, both negative. On Wednesday night I ordered a PCR test just to be on the safe side. It didn’t arrive until Saturday, I sent it back Sunday. I still haven’t had my result, and in the meantime my symptoms have stopped (cough lasted a day, runny nose a few days) and all LFTs have come up negative. By Christmas Day it will have been 10 days since my symptoms started and all tests have been negative. If my LFT is still negative tomorrow, I’m ok to go and visit family Christmas Day aren’t I? Would you?

Considering it’s been 10 days since symptoms anyway, which is how it’d be counted (or 7 days with negative LTF which you have), then yes I absolutely would.

I would tell them the details outlined above and ask if they are happy for you to come - its not really your call to make as to what risk they are happy with. If I was your family I would be fine with you coming but they may not be.

If it's definately been 10 days and an LFT on Christmas morning is negative then yes I would.

They are all fully aware and say they are ok with me coming. I’m just a bit anxious and wondered what others would do.
