If there is a Dadsnet, what would we see there?

Just wondering....
Will they also rant about Christmas? Talk about bodybuilding? Sad about losing friendship (of course they would..this is just an example)

No disrespect please, this thread is for fun (and maybe understand another half a bit more through light hearted discussion). 😊

Many threads would just have one reply.

Eg. AIBU to say Die Hard isn't a Christmas film.

1st Reply: Yes you idiot. Of course it is.

Thread solved.

“I enjoy taking my time have a leisurely shit whilst playing on my phone. It’s my down time and I do this in the morning, sometimes in the evening and at other times when I’m about to go out. My wife keeps moaning about it but I can’t help going to the toilet! What am I supposed to do? Hold it in?”

NorthSouthcatlady · 23/12/2021 14:24

@Soubriquet this!

AdmiralCain · 23/12/2021 14:33

It's very sparse and they grunt at each other.

“After dinner, put your earbuds in and head outside to water the garden for an hour. This gives the cleaning and childcare fairy time to work her magic in the kitchen and have the kids washed and in bed asleep by the time you finish so you can relax.”

MirthlessChuckle · 23/12/2021 14:36

Look at Reddit and you'll see.

Rummikub · 23/12/2021 14:54

My favourite dadsnet thread is the one saying ‘is this the only dadsnet an add on’

It’s been going for over ten years 😂

Isitsixoclockalready · 23/12/2021 15:08

I think that a desert sees more traffic than dadsnet. The topics that do occasionally get discussed are pretty serious but on the whole I'd say that the men (of which I am one) tend to take part in the discussions on the main pages.

WorstXmasEver · 23/12/2021 15:09

Everything that's on mumsnet because 50% here are blokes. (Like me)

VeniVidiWeeWee · 23/12/2021 15:20

Have a look at Pistonheads.

SophieHasOneQuestion · 23/12/2021 15:27

@VeniVidiWeeWee

Have a look at Pistonheads.
Just checked, wow, it is a different world. How interesting!

Maybe lots of women offering a pointless opinion? "As a woman I can tell you that..." haha.

ProudThrilledHappy · 23/12/2021 15:31

If you are looking for male input try the sex board, I find a lot of “as a bloke” responses appear over there

Cherryblossoms85 · 23/12/2021 15:37

I'd say the ones that would get traffic are:

  1. Makita or Dewalt
  2. Blonde, Brunette or Redhead
  3. How annoying is James May
  4. My missus says I'm lazy
  5. Why don't my kids listen to me?
TheCreamCaker · 23/12/2021 16:42

They'd probably discuss -

Beers
cars
football
video games
lack of sex
their wives/girlfriend nagging
