Thursday 23rd, PILs will have arrived. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day all sorted. Need a dinner idea for Thursday, mind blank after planning feeding the army over Christmas. FIL is no meat no meal.

Something completely different from meat/veg/gravy.
How about a nice home made chicken curry? Hairy Bikers "curry for a crowd" is always a favourite in our house and you can make or serve the accompanying things like naan, dips, mini pakora/bhaji, spiced onions etc.
It's easy to make and delicious and I scale it up for 20 people or more.

German Xmas Eve classic is sausages and potato salad. Lidl has massive tubs of decent potato salad, and Bockwürste in packages of 5 that just need to be heated. Super simple, and can easily be had on the 23rd instead of the 24th, AND you can claim it's Christmassy.
