Go Henry Accidental Charges!

Dased1 · 21/12/2021 20:34

I happened to notice that Go Henry had charged me £2.49 every day for the last 10 days. When I contacted them to ask why, they said they'd been having some technical issues with the system and asked me whether I'd like them to refund the £21 that they'd taken in error. It made me wonder how many other people had also encountered this "technical issue", without any emails to notify customers of the issue. has anyone else noticed any rogue charges and if not, please check. I'd be interested to know exactly how much money has been charged in error.

My daughter had every payment made on the 30th November duplicated. We only realised this week, when she told me she had no money in her account, but she knew she hadn't spent it all.

Their initial response was to assure us that the vendors had each only been paid once. It took quite a bit of arguing and me insisting the issue was escalated and investigated, to get them to understand that the money had been taken twice, even if they had not paid the trader twice, and a refund to her account was required.

They did eventually resolve the issue, but I too was left wondering what would have happened had my daughter not made me aware of the missing money.

I bet that when and if people look into their children's Go Henry's more of these errors will come to light. I wasn't impressed. I only noticed because my bank advise me of every transaction regardless of how small, if it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't have noticed as it's such a small amount, but when it's every day you do notice.
