I'm feeling very sorry for myself today, started with norovirus in the middle of the night last night (last one in the house to get it) and I feel bloody rotten!
Was hoping to use these last few days before Christmas to do all my wrapping, whilst indulging in some nice choccies, wine and Christmas movies! Obviously that's now gone out of the window so I'll be last minute panic wrapping!
Can you please cheer me up with some funny stories, Christmas related or not! I would be one very appreciative MNetter!!

Went on a first date ice skating last week…ended up with my poor date breaking her arm- up to then it had been going well, 4 hours in A and E later had given us plenty of time to chat though Grin. Still talking and there may be a second date, even if there isn’t this is my new best story!

Not me, but a story from a hypnosis lecture I was watching yesterday. A hypnotist told the tale of a woman who'd made an appointment, arrived at the given time, then said she was going shopping and would pop back once the hypnosis was done...

My three year old has a mild speech delay and just asked if he could 'shit on my lap' 😂

My neighbour who I don't know very well called over and whilst chatting in the garden she spotted my cat and said she was scared of cats. The cat, who is scared of people saw her and shot off.

She went back to her house and I could see her standing in the middle of the road facing her house and I wondered why she was standing still. Then I saw my cat was sitting on her doorstep and "rescued" her. She's still speaking to me but I've seen my cat sitting on her doorstep since.
