AIBU to be annoyed with nursery not telling me

Today was supposed to be my DS nursery Christmas party at 2pm. DS doesn’t usually go to to nursery on mondays but I changed some plans around so he would be able to go.
When we got to nursery at 2pm the manager had told us that the party had been cancelled because of a covid case. Apparently they thought they had called all the parents to let them know but they accidentally had missed me. I know these things do happen sometimes and it’s not really a big deal. But surely they could have also put it on the FB group for parents just in case they had missed anyone.

Would this annoy anyone else?

It would annoy me briefly but then I'd remember that sometimes mistakes happen and life goes on.

It would annoy me but if communication from the nursery was generally good then I’d accept that it’s just a mistake.

If it was just one thing in a long list of communication failures/difficulty contacting them/general issues you’re having with them, I’d be more annoyed.

Lots of people to phone, perhaps you were engaged or got ticked off accidentally. Its a shame but it wasn't an intentional miscommunication.

Yeah I know it wasn’t intentional so I think I’m just being a bit silly! DS is only 16 months so he was disappointed. I think I was just a bit annoyed at changing plans etc. but these things happen!
