Advice on stares from a neighbour

I’ll make this brief as it’s not a huge issue but I’d like some tips on how to deal please. I used to be very skinny but 3 years put on weight and I’m nearly twice person I was. Didn’t see neighbours due to lockdown and one neighbour she looked at me shocked and I didn’t think nothing of it. This was 1.5 years ago but everytime I see her she smiles a really patronising smile and whilst talking to me looks directly at my tummy. No she doesn’t think I’m pregnant as she does this everytime. I’m at the point of not wanting to leave the house if she’s standing there so wait for her to leave. Can I have some advice on what to do or say? It really upsets me. Other neighbours don’t do this, it’s just her.

Are you sure that's what she's doing?

If she stares at your tummy stop dead and stare at her and when she looks at your face smile and say ‘my eyes are up here!’

Ask her why does she look at your tummy all the time then just ignore her. Or you could say how you newely didnt recognise her as she has aged so much during lockdown.

If she stares at your tummy say 'oh have I dropped something down me as you seem to be staring at my tummy?'

Just get on with your day. It's not that deep.

Thats a lot of weight to put on over a short time. Are you looking to lose the weight? You might be assuming she's looking at you weirdly as you're conscious of your weight gain.

"My eyes are up here"

Treat exactly as you would if she was staring at your breasts.

She sounds like a c*w.
