News Headlines - where did covid go?

Have woken up today and checked online news and there seems far less Covid headlines and hysteria than yesterday. The way the media have gained momentum with this over the past few days, I was really surprised. Has anyone else noticed the same or am I just not looking at the right news sources.

I've just seen, the headline when i woke up was about the myanmar deaths on BBC.

My top 3 news stories are all covid related:
Johnson clears his diary for Covid meetings
Retired teachers urged to return to classrooms
Photo appears of Johnson and staff with wine and cheese

As an aside surely #2 of those is the stupidest idea yet? Sending a vulnerable age group to the place with the highest cases?!
