Aibu to be a bit worried about this lump?

I noticed this lump on my wrist today. I haven’t ever see it before. It feels hard, like an extra bit attached to my bone (it’s not on my other wrist).
Should I be worried? Does anyone know what it is?

It looks like a ganglion cyst to me which isn’t anything scary.

Ganglion.

Ganglion? I don’t think you should be worried, I have never heard of anyone having wrist cancer 🙂

Wonder if it could be a ganglion? Wrists are a common place for them to develop. If it is, they are harmless

The traditional treatment is to hit them with a heavy Bible!

Ganglion

That looks like a ganglion. I had one in exactly the same place, it just came up one day and stayed for quite a few months, then disappeared again. I did get it checked out with the gp when I was there for something else. It did cause me a bit of pain in my wrist but not too bad.

Oh! That’s good then. Thanks everyone. Ganglion cyst sounds like a middle aged kinda complaint! It’ll go nicely with my chilblains and my bunions 🤣
