To be fed up with Tory MPs saying 'what the public want to hear about is...'

It makes me annoyed when they say this. We do want to know, and care about, what happened at the parties, for example, we do want to find out about corruption. Tory MPs saying people don't want to hear about it won't make this go away.

What they mean is that they don't want to hear about it. So we definitely need to keep bringing it up.

Exactly. Even after that they're saying no the public want to hear about X, Y, Z which is not the parties and sleaze.

But seeing as there is significant evidence indicating that it has happened I want to hear the truth

Its just a stock phrase to deflect a question. A bit like "let me be clear". They get trained to throw these things into an interview so they can duck awkward questions and avoid telling the truth

Definitely. And so do I. How arrogant of them to presume to tell us what we want to hear about as well.
