To write one thank you gift for birthday and Christmas presents?

DD just turned 2 the other day, and obviously it's Christmas soon. Some people have given her 2 gifts, 1 for each occasion. AIBU to send just one thank you card and mention both gifts?I feel a bit torn, because is DD was born in June, I'd send two separate ones.

I had my second baby last December and put thank you notes in Christmas cards.

It's fine, saves time and paper.

I’m amazed people still write thank you cards! It YANBU, total waste to do 2 cards

Im another one who is surprised that people still do thank you cards. Yes it's polite to say thank you, but surely thank you cards stem from a time when it wasn't so easy to pick up a phone and call, email, text a lovely thank you message.
Besides I'm not a fan of cards either, it's just extra clutter and rubbish.

Don't be ridiculous, that's so wasteful. It's not like people keep them, they go straight in the recycling. Thank you in Christmas card is fine.

Send a thank you text, one for both.
