She has been on a rollercoaster now anyway but it was not an upside down one.

That, in my accent, is exactly how I pronounce what I thought was ‘Rosheen’

I have turned over. Generally I like Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker but I don't think this programme works. It is the sort of set up that would excite a 12 year old but they must be 3 times that age.

Would a 30 something really get excited about spending a night alone in a theme park. Alone? Except obviously people who must be operating the rides, camera crew, lighting, sound etc.

It's an Irish name that everyone in England pronounces wrong including rosheen herself *@Newhorizon21* has it right.

I now seem to be watching a quiz show with Jimmy Carr and I don't understand that either.

It's often pronounced Rosheen in NI. To me, it should be row-sheen with a fada over the O and Rosheen without. Not a native speaker though.

One of my dogs is called Róisín. Known as Roshie. Just thought I'd join in with that cos it doesn't often come up in conversation :)
