When DS was at school he used to talk about this mad drama teacher who was very tall and had ambitions to do stand-up - they all used to tell him he stood no chance of making it.

It was only years later that I put two and two together and realised who the teacher was (because GD mentioned the school he had taught at). Sadly I never met him at parents evenings (in fact I wonder if he ever bothered to turn up to them) so I can't report back about what he was like in person.
