Sorry but this is outrageous. I'm not an outraged person normally, but...work from home if you can, avoid contact with others, wear a mask. So many people were struggling and this just is completely ridiculous.

I think the government and Boris are useless but this is pretty weak stuff by the Mirror. There is a risk of overplaying their hand on this issue. If we just get a new, progressively weaker “revelations” every day involving increasingly minor figures public outrage (to the extent it exists) is going to be replaced with shrugged shoulders and a “meh”.

It sums up this government and all of its Tory hangers on and donors and cronies. They like to make rules for the rest of us to live by and keep us in our place in the world as long as they don't affect them. That is the basis of the Conservative party- they think they are the people who should make society work in their own interests and to their own benefit- ie privileged position and wealth. For the few not the many.

All I’m saying is that I don’t sense a drip feed of further revelations is likely to increase public outrage - you either think they’re shit now, or you don’t.
