Electric or sonic toothbrush? - any dentists on here?

Currently looking at getting some new toothbrushes for my DCs (both under 10)
Me and DH both have rechargeable oral -b ones but I have read some good things about sonic ones too.

Does anyone know what's more suitable for kids? My youngest is super fussy about me helping him brush his teeth so I am hoping for something that will do a good job as he's still learning how to brush properly.

I use oral b hun as I'm not keen on sonic care...maybe get them an electric toothbrush so they can brush there own teeth then maybe go over them with a manual tooth brush xx
