What tv advert is annoying you at the moment?

Maybe I’m getting old and grumpy, but loads of adverts are annoying the hell out of me these days.

Fortunately I seem to have missed the Daisy advert but the Chanel no5 one absolutely infuriates me, as does the Perfect advert. But the British Gas one with that noise (it can't be music) really, really upsets me. It's on the sodding radio too, there's no escaping it.

The whoop one for whichever chocolates it is.

The Chanel no 5 ‘we’re on each other’s teeeeeam’ 🎶 one with Marion Cotillard. Grates on me and seems to be everywhere.

That one for me, too. It's on every single ad break that I see and it's getting on my pip something awful.

I HATE the Halifax one, with the guy saying goodbye to his soon-to-be-pts pet dog. It's unnecessary to put that bit in!!

It did for a while have a segment where a girl was implied to either not be pregnant after trying multiple times, or an mc, but it's gone now. I imagine someone (unsurprisingly) complained. Banking adverts aren't appropriate for something that can upset viewers without warning.

I hate the one with the girl singer using her dad's old music to make a new track, on every 5 mins for months now.

The premise is annoying enough but when she’s asked her age, she says ‘I’m 50’. She’s 70 if she’s a day and it REALLY irritates me.

The same goes for the Plantur 39 shampoo woman whispering about being ‘over 40’. She looks like she should have a ration book!

There's one for the Halifax which gives 13yo DS the rage every time. It ends with two boys kicking their football along the pavement, it lands at the feet of a Halifax employee who smiles and kicks it back. He is in his blue suit and smart shoes and somebody dressed like that would NEVER kick a ball back apparently. It really winds DS up, it's hilarious.

Oh goodness this. DC hate this ad especially the guy's creepy inane grin.

All get an instant hit of the pause button and all the rest of the ads get fast forwarded through.

And then there's the elderly aimed ones that go "oh I'd love to go on a nine mile hike but oooohh my leg is playing up and any bloke off the street could act better and sound less false than I'm managing to, and the script writer is apparently five. So no."

The alarm advert (might be verisure) when the engineer turns up to fit the alarms.

Is it just me that detects a slight "frisson" between the engineer and the man of the house?

I always record programmes and start watching on playback after 10 min so I usually only see adverts at 6x.

I quite miss being annoyed though, so will actively watch the adverts, at least for a bit, because of this thread

Another one for the stupid yodelling Domino's advert. I mute as soon as I hear it. I fear there is a new contender for most annoying though and that's that stupid celebrations (chocolates) advert with them all shouting woop or something. It's stupid and annoying.

Oh and for any Scottish people do you even need me to mention the bloody bank advert with Susan Calman? Gives me the rage that one, no I'm not helpful or lovely because I'm scottish, I'm a bitch thanks very much!
