AIBU to be in a slight panic this morning.

I saw my Gp on Friday and was asked to do a stool sample that I posted on Saturday. I also have a blood test due on Friday. I went on the Gp website to check when I can order my prescription and thought I would check for future appointments to make sure of the time of the blood test to discover I have a phone call from the Gp this morning.

I am now worrying wether something has been found in the sample (they were checking for blood). I think I need a hand held until she rings.

They call to discuss when something found but not serious
Call you in if serious
Don’t initiate contact if nothing found

Yeah I think they ring you to bring something to your attention but would book you in if it required a bigger conversation and more serious treatment. That's how my GP does it anyway. Fingers crossed for you OP.

Thanks for your comments. Go hasn’t yet phoned but I know the surgery are extra busy today according to their website.

Panic over she was ringing to tell me to do another sample to test for different causes.
