Ant and Dec

Not sure if i am bu but at what point is ITV going to get some new presenters? Ant and Dec have been on our screens for years doing tons of programmes each year.

Same for Holly and Phil. At what point do itv bring in some fresh new talent? Instead if recycling the same presenters and programmes. I switched off from itv a couple of years ago cos i can't watch anymore. Its groundhog day. Aibu?

If view figures for this morning dropped off a cliff after Holly And Phil turned up, they'd have sacked then ages ago. Same as Ant and Dec, if people stopped watching their programs, they'd drop them very quickly.

Yanbu. I've never understood how people can bare watching hours and hours of the same old rubbish week after week, year after year. I actually find it quite dystopian to think of everyone staring at the same mindless celebrity twaddle every week almost as if it's designed to subdue them (not to mention all the adverts that are part and parcel of it all). I love TV and watch loads of on demand stuff but we stopped watching live TV (bbc / itv) years ago. It's all just so repetitive.

I love Ant and Dec but Phil and Holly can get in the bin. Absolutely talentless

Most presenters are mediocre at best. Never understood the love for Ant and Dec. As for Holly and Phil I'd prefer to watch paint dry.

I love love love Ant and Dec. It's time Holly, Phil, Bradley Walsh, Dermot O' Dreary and Lorraine Kelly were put out to pasture.

Oh lord, I so agree! Ant and Dec because - amongst other things - they happily present a long running show, and accept huge paychecks that uses animal abuse for 'entertainment'..

and Holly and Phil because I am beyond sick of seeing them EVERYWHERE!

Still can't get over Phil's proclamation of how "Brave" he was to announce on TV he was Gay. Considering he interviews people everyday that have had the worst that life can throw at them and reports on tragic situations, it shows he is so far up his own arse to even notice..

Love Stephen Mulhurn which I know isn’t the point of this thread. But he is so funny. Gino is good on Family Fortunes. I also thought Jason Mansford was a very good game show host. I never watch anything with Ant and Dec presenting really. I find them a bit bland. My DD loves them though.

ITV rotate loads of presenters but most of them just aren't very good.

I'd love to see the bubble burst for Phil and Holly both so smug and have had it good for years being on every tv show going.

Personally I'd like to see some people with actual intelligence presenting. Phil I didn't mind until his "coming out" episode. I absolutely love some of the gay presenters we have on TV but coming out when you're still married and have been for 28 yrs just seemed a bit off.
Holly is utterly annoying and (maybe some envy here) - how has she managed to get herself millions a year being that dumb?

I turned to Steph's packed lunch in the hopes of something better but have quickly realised that she is an AWFUL interviewer and not as bright as I thought. And the people they give airtime too....😱

Just don't watch ITV. You have more choice than ever in what to watch and when.

There is nothing on the ITV schedule which I watch. Sometimes they do a decent drama which I'll watch on catchup, not live.
