Never mind frustrated I'd be bloody livid.
30 is nowhere near middle aged.

Ha

If you lean into it earlier, you can have people fob you off when you call yourself middle aged, which is great for the ego Grin Mind, it would still be annoying to have someone else impose it on you, so I'm with you on that.

MollysDolly · 11/12/2021 02:21

Was it by an 18yr old?

Because 30 is ancient to them.

I can remember wailing "I'll be 25, that's a quarter of a century."

Oh to be that young and stupid again.

Middle aged is certainly not 30.

SantasGoodLittleGirl · 11/12/2021 02:23

That's hilarious. You're hardly adult at 30. Middle age is a long way ahead.

But I remember being 18 and thinking people of 30 were so old.

SantasGoodLittleGirl · 11/12/2021 02:23

Ha! Cross-post!

Sosososotired · 11/12/2021 08:11

I'm early 30's and a friend who is only a few years younger than me compared me to his 50 year old mum. I was not happy.

Chunkymonkey13 · 11/12/2021 09:09

40 is middle age right? Average life expectancy is 80 so 40 is technically bang on middle age.

thepeopleversuswork · 11/12/2021 09:20

Hahahahaha

Wait until you get to my age. Do you hang out with religious fundamentalists OP? Whoever they are they sound as if they have led extremely sheltered lives.

  1. Thirty is not middle aged.
  1. There is nothing wrong with being middle aged.
